I installed some new software on my PC yesterday. When I run it I get
the following message:

"MMSYSTEM296. The file cannot be played on the specified MCI device.
The file may be corrupt, or not in the correct format".
Can anyone tell me what this means? The program seems to run OK without
it and has no particular need for sound (if that's what it is).
