I often want to select all of a post to paste into SpamCop, including
headers. In ver 5 this was easy - display headers and select all, but in
beta I have to copy and paste header separate to body. Any way to select
all of post incl header for copying and pasting?

Health is merely the slowest possible rate at which one can die.

'Forward mail' ? Works here...

As in:

------- Forwarded message follows -------

#and works perfectly here when I want to forward spam to abuse.net.
However, spamcop require it to be pasted into a web page.

Angua (and others) could forward the spam message, and then show it with
header and then cut and paste the entire message from that to the web
page. I suspect they might not consider that the simplest of operations.
Expanding it as raw text is quicker.

Yup. My apologies, I had forgotten that spamcop was web-based. Now I
remember why I don't use it.

View, raw text, Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C, switch to spamcop window, Ctrl-V. You
get used to it after a while

I'm sure it is - I just prefer e-mailing abuse.net offline, is all! :)

OK it's just that spamcop analyses the complete email, headers and all
,sorts out the false trails, looks also at URLs in the spam and fires
off abuse reports ignoring all the munging that may show up in headers.

Remember as well that "_V_iew, Ra_w_ text" can be done with Alt-V, Alt-W
so you don't have to switch to the mouse to do the menu selection and
back to the keyboard to the cut & paste. In fact, the full sequence
could be:

"Alt-V, Alt-W, Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C, Alt-F4, ... Ctrl-V"

Where the Alt-F4 closes the Raw text window.

While mice are great, keyboard shortcuts can save a lot of time and
messing about, especially when you realise that most menu items have
keyboard shortcuts built in.

Take care,

Mark..........
