Exchange Server unavailable problem

My system uses Exchange Server to receive mail from Demon. It also has
GroupShield installed.

On a fairly regular basis these days mail for my domain is held up on
one or more of the Demon punt machines, presumably due to the
detection of a virus on one of the messages. At last that was the
suggestion given the last time I spoke to Demon when this happened.

Presumably, as a result of the way the mail is transferred from Demon
to my domain, a problem with any message results in all messages being
undelivered. Does anyone know a way around this? Is there a way to
configure GroupShield or Exchange not to behave like this?

It is a pain in the neck having to go through the messages on the
server with WebMail and try to find out which one is causing the
hold-up!

Any advice greatly appreciated.
