Is there anyone out there with the same trouble as me having this "error629"
this is happening when i try to connect online. I have tried most of the day
to sort this problem out.

Finally i had to reinstall windows 98
At last it let me connect to the web.
So i thought everything was ok, but guess what, error 629 again, when i
tried to connect online.
So i have been trying different access
tel no,s from demon - I finally could connect again.
I am registered with BT surftime which should entitle me to free calls after
6pm
and weekends.
I was given a tel no by demon to use, im wondering if it is this, that may
be giving me all this trouble.
If anyone has had this problem please let me know
Andrew

Try http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q237/4/19.asp

(the MS KB has several other articles that reference error 629)
