My wife and I have a simple wireless network between our two computers,
which reside in different rooms.
I have a web site on demon (using WS_FTP95 Pro- came with Turnpike). My
wife wishes to do the same, but having *her* site on *her* computer.
Question is, should this be done by her also having WS_FTP on her
machine? I can't find a pathway between the two machines whereby she can
access my copy of WS_FTP.
At present she utilises my computer, transferring the file containing
her web site by flash drive, and thence via WS_FTP on my machine to
Demon.
Does this make any kind of sense?

Yes, indeed - but why not download Filezilla for her - if you are
accustomed to WS-FTP Pro it isn't really a big learning curve and it's
free and there are versions for both Windows and Linux. I use Filezilla
when I'm on the road with a Linux Asus EEEPC and I didn't have to read
the help files after WS-FTP. Especially easy if you don't have to bother
with setting up access to a dozen or more sites / servers at a time.
By the way, Filezilla is not in anyway related to the Mozilla
organisation - it is a dedicated FTP client.
