Planned Maintenance - Web Hosting.

We will be carrying out planned maintenance of our Web Hosting
platform as follows:
Sunday 25th May between 00:01 and 12:00 Hrs BST
Saturday 31st May between 00:01 and 04:00 Hrs BST
Sunday 1st June between 00:01 and 04:00 Hrs BST
During the above periods we will be upgrading the disk storage
systems used for the platform, as part of a service improvement
programme.
The following products will be affected:
Demon Web Hosting Professional
Demon Web Hosting Advanced
Demon Web Hosting Standard
Demon Web Hosting Entry
Demon Homepages (bundled with Standard Dial Up and HomeOffice
Broadband)
Customer web sites will not be available, nor will customers be
able to maintain their site content whilst this work is
undertaken.
We regret any inconvenience caused by this essential work.
May we also remind customers of our policy for storing logs
generated by websites hosted by us on our 'New Comweb platform'
which is used by customers of the following products : -
Business Broadband
Internet Leased Lines purchased before March 2008
Standalone webspace purchased before August 2003
After two weeks, visitor logs are zipped. After they have become
63 days old we then delete the log files. Customers should copy
their logs to archives if they are required for longer periods
than this.
Later this month, we shall purge log files that are older than
this.
