We are pleased to announce that from Monday 3rd December it will
be possible for customers to submit reports of spam that they
have received for consideration in tuning our spam filters.

Not all email that customers consider to be spam will be included
in future filtering as there are strict rules in place to ensure
that only email that passes relevant tests can be considered spam.

In order to submit a valid report you must ensure that:

* the spam filtering service is enabled on your account. You can
enable the spam filtering service at any time by logging into
the WebPassword control panel
<https://www.password.uk.demon.net/>,
clicking on the 'Mail' button at the top and then ticking the
Anti-spam box.

* the spam you are reporting is included as an RFC822 MIME attachment.
Some general instructions on how to do this with a variety of email
clients are shown on our web site. If you are using any other email
client you will need to consult its documentation for further help.

* if you are using Outlook, your reports are not digitally signed
with for example PGP or S/MIME.

The address to send these reports to is:

mis...@spam.demon.net

You can include as many spam emails as you wish in any one message
(each spam email should be a separate attachment), but you may find
it more convenient to use several messages rather than one.

You are encouraged to send all your reports from the same email
address as this is used to generate a reputation for you. The more
submissions you make that are indeed spam, the higher your
reputation and the more influential your submissions will become.

Please do not use this as a mechanism for unsubscribing from
mailing lists or for mail where you simply haven't liked the
response you have received.

Also please note that you can only report potential spam received
from today, as the system needs to refer to a new header in emails
that will not be available on older email.

Further details of this facility, including instructions for
submitting reports in the correct format using some common email
clients, can be found at:
