Thanksgiving Dinner for Young Democrats

At our last meeting, Ryan Neel, President of Hill College Young
Democrats asked us to consider providing Thanksgiving lunch for a
group of Hill College students that wouldn't be going home for the
holidays. He thinks there'll be about 20 kids. I'd like to appeal to
each of you to help fulfill this request!

The Knights of Columbus are furnishing turkey and dressing. Dr Kappus
is providing a turkey and ham which the student services guy is
cooking. We need to provide everything else. Here's a list I came up
with. Please let me know what you can provide. If you just want to
provide money John & I will go buy what's needed.

paper plates
plastic knives, forks & spooks
plastic cups
ice
drinks-sodas, tea, etc.
green beans
corn
cranberry sauce
rolls
mashed potatoes or potato salad
salad & dressing
casseroles or salads
desserts-pies, brownies, cookies, popcorn, etc
snacks-stuff they can munch on over the long weekend while they watch
ballgames!!
Anything else you thinks growing boys and girls will enjoy!!

Please let me know what you plan to provide so we can rattle the
bushes for the rest!!

Let's help make this a Happy Thanksgiving for them. Ryan said they'll
be getting together in the student center around noon Thanksgiving
day. You can take your items by then or we can make arrangements for
earlier in the day!!
