Biden speaks out on economic stimulus

Wow! We have got a dialogue going for sure. It's great to see the
sudden action on this site. HuffPost has repeated a video of Biden
speaking, and saying that "they got it wrong" on the stimulus. A
pretty good article accompanies the video. I've put a couple of
comments in, and there is a surprising lack of far-out Rush-type
insults and some very intelligent comments if you can read through all
of them.
Of course lots of us thought that they were getting the stimulus wrong
from day one, but it was done in the spirit of "bipartisanship" and
with the practicality of getting a few votes to actually pass it.
Could Obama have pushed something better through? Hard to tell.
However, it's certainly true that it's going to be much harder to "get
it right" now.
