Koffee Klatch - regarding Prop 13

At the Koffee Klatch this morning (Saturday, July 11), Al Perry suggested that we take action on a simple, clear issue:
repealing Prop 13.

I think his is an excellent idea because:

1. this is an issue of fairness and equality;
2. this is an easily understood issue;
3. this would help “us” to expand our group(s) and activities.

Therefore, I suggest that we take the following actions:

To begin, I think that we will need a clear copy of the text of Prop 13; and, a description of its effects (particularly the impact on corporate owned properties; and, a “model” of its impact – to begin an example of how much of a dollar impact is involved.

For simplicity, I suggest that those who respond discuss Prop 13 only in an email, separate from all other emails, with the subject of:
Prop 13; with only Prop 13 issues in the email.

Would you obtain as much information as possible, in time for the next Koffee Klatch (July 18), please?
