Democracy Now! Summer Series

Series Fees for the Summer Series of Democracy Now! have been paid.
This will be the fourth series funded by donations from this group. We
will continue with the 6 pm time slot.

Starting with last spring, series costs rose from $25 for M-F program
fee to $25 for each day of the week, or $125 in all. Democracy Now has
picked up the cost of the Dish Network satellite feed in the hope that
Austin fans could reimburse them for that, starting in June.

We have had $555.00 in donations from members of this group. This is
now almost gone, and we have $5. left in our account. If anyone from
this group would like a rundown on how the money has been spent,
please let me know.

I'd like to hear from anyone who wants to donate or who has ideas for
how we can raise money to keep Democracy Now! on Channel 16 this
fall.

P.S. Tonight's show will celebrate the birthday of Bob Dylan, with
rare interviews and songs from Pacifica Radio Archives.
