EOD Level 3 courses

I keep being asked about who is offering IMAS guided EOD Level 3 courses these days... and cannot answer.

 

Can anyone help?

 

Incidentally, I am told that the picture I posted last week was of a key for a TM 62 clockwork delay timer.

Dear Andy,

This is also for interest to me.

I just know about courses offered by Mechem, from a visit to them last year.

From my notes:

basic demining + EOD1, lasting 3 weeks 

EOD2 + EOD3, lasting 4 weeks

But i don't know about the calendar of courses this year. It would be nice to know it.

Hello Andy,

 

I have been doing some consulting work for Sterling (SGO), among others, who conduct IMAS based EOD Level 3 courses at different times.

 

So although they are capable and have the programs already worked up they are not regularly scheduled courses but conducted as needed to support specific projects...which may or may not fit for who is asking.

Thanks to Agim, Manuel, Emanuela, Bob and Dan for the varied information, which I have passed on to several people.

 

Good to see this forum working so well.

 

The IMAS requirement is pretty vague so The EOD course content will be bound to vary – and of course all teaching depends to a large degree on the quality of the teachers. Anyway, I will ask providers for their curriculum and any advertising blurb. If anything of general interest turns up, I will report back.
