Nightingales Center for ageing and alzheimers, sunfeast and other programs

Dear Friends,

                      You would be glad to know that the "Nightingales Centre for Ageing and Alzheimer's" is up and functioning since 24th April.  I take this oppurtunity for you all to come and see the center.  The first support group meeting at the Centre is scheduled for the 8th May, 2010 between 3 pm and 5 pm.  Dr. Soumya Hegde will be presiding over the meeting and the Theme is "Environment and Dementia."

 

Another thing I would like to inform is that the last date for registration has been extended to 5th May, 2010.  Kindly help us to reach out to the elders who are suffering from this dreaded disease.  Support our cause and run Sunfeast Marathon and raise as much as you can for this noble cause.  Feel free to forward this mail to your friends who might help and might need help.  Here is our appeal..

Dear Priyam,

Thank you for your email regarding the Centre, the next Caregiver's Support Group Meeting and the 10K Sunfest Run.

Unfortunately, I won't be there to take part in the run (wish I was and I'm training now like I am going to run!), nor for the next Caregiver's meeting.  As you are aware I will be out of India for a while and my brother ans sister-in-law will be taking care of my mother. They will be attending the meetings over the next few months.  I am copying them on this email as a way of introducing you to each other and make email contact.  In any case you will have the opportunity to meet them in person this week when you visit our home.

Regarding the Centre - I'll try my best to visit it together with my brother before I leave; if not possible, I will definitely visit when I come back in June.  

Many thanks again for all your support during these last few months. Its been invaluable and I want you to know that it is much appreciated.
