Dear Friends,
Greetings from Nightingales!
As you know, 21st September every year is celebrated worldwide as the World Alzheimer's Day. On this day, people from all walks of life, right from people with dementia to family members, professionals and socially conscious public, who feel for the cause, participate in this unique event. These events aim to spread more awareness about the severity of the disease, the symptoms, the need for early intervention and the services & facilities available for Dementia Care.
To this account, a Three Day Awareness and Screening Campaign has been organized by Nightingales Centre for Ageing & Alzheimer’s and The Bangalore Chapter of Alzheimer’s & Related Disorders Society of India.
This Campaign will benefit a large number of elders through free Memory Screening. The Campaign will be extended for a period of 3 days, the 21st, 22nd and 23rd. The Mobile Promo Van and the team will visit Government and private hospitals and areas frequented by elders. The team will also educate and sensitize the younger generation about the disease, care and their responsibility.
You have been associated with Nightingales for a long time now. We once again thank you for your kind association. Your presence at this event will certainly be a great source of inspiration for our efforts to create awareness, improve the quality of life of the elderly affected with dementia and their family members. Kindly inform about your participation by replying to this mail or calling 9243737222.
With kind regards,
Dr. Radha S. Murthy
