Welcome to the Demand Al Jazeera Supporters group. This group was started by individuals, just like you, to provide a global platform for AJE supporters to communicate and share information as we prepare for the next wave of action. Our ultimate goal: to be able to watch Al Jazeera English on any cable- or satellite-connected television in the United States, just as freely as we can currently watch CNN or Fox News.

Many of you will be the only person from your town (that you know of) that is an AJE supporter. Your job is most important - to figure out how to find at least 5-10 other AJE supporters in your area to call your local cable company. Hopefully, through this group, you will find the tools and information to accomplish that goal.

Upcoming dates of note:

Tues, March 15 - National Meetup Day (Meetups everywhere.. including your town) to assign duties in preparation for the upcoming National Call-In Day.

This will soon be announced and coordinated at www.meetup.com/AJE. Once it's announced, please sign up and tell your friends.
A suggested gameplan for this Meetup will be provided ahead of time, giving you a list of duties that will need to be assigned in your town, i.e. flyer distribution, hanging posters on bulletin boards, writing letters to the editor, etc.

Weds, March 23 - National Call-In Day.. we will generate as many calls as possible to local cable & satellite providers demanding Al Jazeera English.

Everything that we do from now thru March 23 will have the sole purpose of getting as many people to call their local cable company on this day as possible.
