support for DWARF 5 - why?

Howdy,

Just out of curiosity - I've noticed that delve got some support for DWARF 5 debug info recently. I'm wondering if there was a particular reason why this has happened, given that gc doesn't seem to support it. Is it for gccgo?

We (I work on gc) hope to support DWARF 5 in gc one of these days, and though I don't know exactly when, it's nice that Delve is working on it already.

DWARF 5 might get us smaller binaries and faster linking, so we have good reasons to want to do this.
