Now that deluge doesn't support Python 2, can it stop using "six"?
Or is it still provided for compatibility with existing plugins that may
import it?

Deluge 2.0.x does support Python 2 but removing it is targetted for a
2.1.0 release and it seems that work has started on that:

Ah, my bad. I checked before posting but must have looked in the wrong
place for the minimum version. Now I see that everywhere it says Python 2
is also supported.

Since six is mentioned in the PR, I think this ticket can be closed.
