Bob and ALL DAT team members, Keeping with the ARC's "be safe" on DAT calls policy. In the event that the Capt/lead determines that the weather conditions are unsafe for a DAT response. Contact the FD (or other dispatch agency) and get the name and phone number of the client. Determine  - If the client does not have a place to stay- If possible attempt to contact a Red Cross listed  hotel and advise hotel that a voucher for the night will be faxed the next business day.  If No  client Phone number is available- have the dispatcher notify the  Incident commander that you will not be responding and have the IC ask the client to come /contact the office the next day.   This is the best suggestion  I have for these conditions.    Be safe.  Al Kirby
