BIG SIS week team coming atcha---

 

Thank you to everyone who sent in an idea for big-little reveals to Sarah and I.  We want our pledge class to have the most say in the event, so I’ve compiled a poll so you can vote on which idea you like best.  Here’s what we got:

 

“Big” Wrapped in a Box

We could all do boxes with wrapping paper with their big inside! The babies knew which box was theirs because it had the little's name decorated on the outside like a present at Christmas.

 

Matching Costumes

Big and Littles dress up in similar outfits for reveals . The big gives their little (in secret/basket etc) their outfit before hand and during reveals they are dressed with similar themes like princesses, or coordinated like cop and robbers.  This could be interesting as we could then tell them the outfit they're wearing is the outfit for the Date Function the next night!

 

Matching Socks

In baskets, the Bigs give their littles a pair of unique socks that they are instructed to wear at reveals. At reveals, all the Bigs are line up behind some kinds of tarp/sheet, so all you can see is their feet—where they are wearing the same pair of unique socks.  The littles find their pair of “socks” and stand on the other side of the tarp/sheet, and then we drop the sheet so that the big and little are revealed! 

Big/Little Song Hunt

Each big/their family would sit in a car possibly at the football stadium or JPJ. Each big will have given each little a CD or song lyrics to a song earlier in the week and told their little to "listen" for her song. Each car blasts the song for their little who runs around trying to hear which car is hers!

Matching DG Letters

We could paint/decorate/buy letters (DG) and give one in a basket and keep the other one, and at reveals they have to find their matching letter!

 

Balloons
We write our name on a piece of paper, and our little's name on a balloon and put the paper inside and blew it up and when they popped it confetti and our names could come out?
