How to view Azure Synapse delta tables natively in Tableau

Hello,

Currently to view Azure Synapse delta tables in Tableau we are cataloging it as views in synapse serverless sql pool, and then accessing the views in tableau.

Is it possible to access the delta tables directly from tableau ?
