If I run "create or replace table..." to replace an existing delta table, should I apply OPTIMIZE Z ORDER.. again ? or the Z-ordering would maintain same as before the replace ?

Hi Amy, 

if the data in the table changes you need to run the Z-order again to cluster the data. You can apply partition predicate to Zorder command to restrict the Z-order rebuild only on patroons that have data changed. Please see
