Thanks everyone those who have submitted patches and/or created
tickets for Pragyan CMS v3 as part of their Task 2. The names of the
authors of the accepted patches will be included in the Pragyan CMS
developers list. I'll update the successful submissions list in a few
days. No more submissions of patches will be accepted, however you may
still continue to create tickets to report bugs or request a new
feature. I really found some good patches for some of the tickets and
I appreciate all your work. The main idea behind Task 2 was to make
everyone of you familiar with Pragyan CMS as you'll be working on it
in your next year, if you're inducted. Of course, you'll be given the
opportunity to take part in any of the other projects also, or start
your own project and host it on Delta.

Coders can now relax for some days, until we come out with a FINAL
task (if we decide to?). But we also need your consensus, are you
coders willing to work on a Final "BIG" Delta project, for an entire
month until your inductions in the college ?? There will be no
deadline, no restrictions on the project. You can create whatever you
want and bring directly to your interviews if you're interested. You
can use any language you want and it may not necessary use PHP/MySQL
or may not be a web application even. Since we're now sure that most
of you have got quite a good experience in PHP and MySQL, we now want
you to venture into other areas and explore other programming
languages also. But take care, that whatever you create, must be
useful. It shouldn't be a redundant project, that is already
available. Think of an idea, then pick a language, and then implement
it.

Also I'd encourage all of you to start using Linux and get experience
in it, because in Delta, we HATE Windows ! All the Delta comps and
servers are linux based, and so you can chose to ignore Linux at your
own peril. That's all for now. Those coders who are also interested in
designing can take part in the active Designing tasks also, including
creating the official logo for Pragyan CMS. And please post your views
regarding whether do you want an "official" FINAL Task for Coders to
be there or not. Ofcourse, anyone who is interested can work
unofficially and bring it during the interviews to impress us :)

@Abishek:: Thanks for consideration on another Final coding task...
Because frankly I could not work on patches as I have installation
problems...
Another delta task on what you narrated will help us show you we are
working for inductions...
I feel it need not be official... coz it need not be compulsary for
those who worked on patches,,,as they had already worked on task2...
Unofficial task could help all those including me who have
installation problems in CMS...
Most people find problems with WAMP in installation...
Anyway thanks again for this consideration.....:)
