Hello All,

Someone could tell me how to make a html editor using
chromiumembedded?

I tried using the Gecko / Mozilla, but delphi´s component is not yet
ready to work with htmldocuments objects in DesignMode = ON.

Hello Icsouza,

You can certainly use the following:
<html>
<body>
start<br><hr>
<div contenteditable="true">
edit text here, use ctrl+B, ctrl+U, etc, etc
</div>
<hr>end<br>
</body>
</html>

I don't know how extensive the editing support is.

Alternatively you can use tinymce, ckeditor, etc) within
chromiumembedded web pages.

In addition, it seems Evernote (6-7million users of their windows
version) uses chrome for its internal browser and editor.

You can Icsouza, this article shows a technique to do what you need

BTW I've used it to do precisely that - although with IE & tinymce,
I don't know how easy or hard it is within chromium as not had time to
look into it native support.

I saw the link and it uses MSHTML, IHTMLDocument in Delphi.
My intention is to use my editor made in Delphi in Wine/Linux, but
when I use MSHTML or IHTMLDocument2 not work in Wine, because they are
part of the Internet Explorer.(MS IE6,7,8)

I need an html editor that does not use native operating system
libraries from windows.

I've been testing some conversion (HMTL -> RTF) and using a rich-text
editor and doing again the conversion ( RTF -> HTML), but RTF editor
of Wine is not good and it works differently than Windows.
