Description: Below is a description of the Hyperion Developer roles we’re trying to fill. Please review and send me resumes for candidates that meet the role requirements.
Financial and healthcare background is a big plus. Someone who is a strong Hyperion Developer (not a Hyperion interface Developer). Will need to be able to work closely with Functional team, taking functional specs and translating to technical requirements. Also able to articulate something Technical back to the Functional team. Ability to facilitate meetings between Functional and Technical team. This is not a waterfall type environment, is more iterative like an Agile environment.
Primary Responsibility: Hyperion Planning developer; completing development and test tasks for assigned Hyperion Planning/Essbase components, e.g., plan types, Essbase databases, web forms, business rules, calc scripts and SmartViews Experience: Worked on 3 or more full life cycle enterprise-level Hyperion Planning implementations for 300 or more planning users or global Large-scale Hyperion implementation experience with Fortune 500 companies 3-5 years experience as a technical resource with extensive knowledge and development experience on Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning System 9/11 (Workforce, CapEx), Oracle Enterprise Performance Management Architect, Hyperion Financial Reports, and Essbase Spreadsheet Add-In/Smartview. Proven ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment, prioritize and execute assigned tasks in a high-pressure environment
Core Skills/Requirements: n-depth configuration knowledge of Hyperion Planning, EPMA, Workspace and Shared Services Smartview and related reporting tools, business rules, calculations, allocations, scripts, syntax, expressions, etc Understanding of general accounting terms and budgeting/planning processes and/or 2-3 years prior experience working in a budgeting/planning role (health care industry experience HUGE plus). At least 2+ years experience in analyzing requirements, writing functional/technical specifications Certified in Hyperion Planning System 9/11 (preferred) Undergraduate degree required, preferably Accounting or Finance (preferred) Flexible schedule and extensive travel Ability to meet tight deadlines Excellent organizational and communications skills Willingness to work overtime and weekend hours as needed.
