3) Create a front runner where none exists! Pole vaulting zombies run fast until they vault over a nut, and the newspaper zombie runs fast after getting the paper destroyed by a nut. Just let them run a little bit down the lawn before sending a nut their way.
4) Just because you have nuts does not mean you have to use them. This is where "Nerves of Steel" comes into play. When there are a few zombies ambling down the lawn without a clear ricochet shot, wait a little bit to see if more of their friends will step out to play. They can always be killed once they cross the red line.
6) Reserve the exploding nuts. Try not to use those nuts unless a mob crosses the line, or there are not enough nuts or room to clear out a hard to kill zombie. Use the regular walnuts for the zombies that have not reached the red line.
7) Don't use exploding nuts to kill pole vaulting zombies directly. Pole vaulting zombies only jump obstacles in their own lane. A pole vaulting zombie who has not vaulted yet will safely jump over explosions or nuts in their own lane; so find a neighbor in the next lane and time the nut to hit when the pole vaulting zombie gets close to the neighbor.
Plants Vs. Zombies is a very popular game and has a very distinct style. You can take that style even further by changing the Zombies' costumes. Some of the later levels can be extremely challenging, and sometimes it feels like you never have enough Sun. If you're playing the PC version, there are ways that you can cheat the system and give yourself the advantage. See Step 1 below to learn to change zombie costumes and give yourself unlimited Sun on the PC version of Plants Vs. Zombies.

Please note that some of these hacks will not work on the Steam or Origin version of Plants vs. Zombies. This may not also work for modified Plants vs. Zombies that affect gameplay or more features. Examples include PvZ: Plus or etc,.
WARNING: This only prevents damage from zombies eating plants. It provides no protection against other ways of damaging or destroying plants, such as from Zombonis, Catapult Zombies, Gargantuars and Dr. Zomboss. Also, Plants will still be vulnerable to Peashooter Zombie and Gatling Pea Zombie's peas. To make plants invulnerable to their peas, see below.
Last Stand Endless can be played on the PC version by modifying a saved file of Survival: Endless to Last Stand after flag 11 but only the zombies in the Last Stand mini-game will appear and the same choice of plants will be used in every round.
Play any level, and open Cheat Engine and make sure "Enable Speedhack" is checked. Set the speed to 2. And you can play Zombie Nimble Zombie Quick anywhere! (do this on ZomBotany for Plant Nimble Plant Quick)
Spikerock
Spikerock is an upgrade of Spikeweed.
Spikerocks are the key to delay gargantuar, giga gantuar and
instantly destroys vehicles (basketball truck and zomboni ice truck) Spikerock can take up to 9 hits from gargantuar or pop up 9 vehicle wheels before it finally disappears. Spikeweed on the other hand will be destroyed instantly from gargantuar hit and vehicle wheel.
Winter Melon
Winter Melon are used to slow zombies attack and movement by half. This allows your spikerock to survive longer while gargantuar are attacking them. Using multiple winter melon for damage does not clear masses of zombies as quickly as gatling pea.
Gloom Shroom
Gloom Shroom are used to kill all water zombies including dolphin rider. Sometimes zombies just suddenly appear from water without them jumping into the pool. 3 columns of gloom shroom easily defeat those sudden zombie appearance at column 6,7,8,9 at row 3 and 4.
Gold Magnet
Gold Magnet is used to collect coins dropped by zombies. I wonder why zombies have those coins in the first place. Two gold magnet is sufficient to collect all coins left on the ground.
Umbrella Leaf
Umbrella Leaf is mainly used to take care of basketball truck that lobs basketball which directly kills plants within the pumpkin. Football truck targets plants at the furthest back row. Umbrella leaf also takes care of bungee zombies that interferes with the offense plants and prevent them from stealing the plants from your garden.
Garlic is used to divert zombies to other lane.
Coffee bean is used to waken mushrooms that sleeps in morning
To create a gloom shroom, it requires fume and gloom.
Squash is used to buy some time in the early levels to gain sufficient sunshine to establish the gloom shroom.
and i have trouble with some survival levels because i dont know WHAT will show up next (2 if hard) flags, in survival(day)hard i have trouble with miners because i dont know they were coming and at last flags some gargantaurs showed up and not to mention about balloon zombies came while i dont have any spot in my lawn so i had to remove some for cactuses
During gameplay press R1 + R2 + L1 + L2 and then enter one of the following codes (without the quotes) to activate the corresponding effect. Your Tree Of Wisdom must be a certain height before some codes can be enabled.
Any plants on the same colored x-squares will ALL perform their superpower when you use a Plant Food on any one of them. For example, if you have a corn plant on 3 green squares. And you select a Plant Food then touch one of the corn plants on a square, all 3 plants will launch butter squares and stop all the zombies on the board.
Yes you can first go to one of these note(it depends which one you want) puzzle mode, zen garden, mini games, survival,or story and then push the corresponding buttons: lb rb lb rb

Well, there is Peking Express, which requires you to swipe or scroll to the very bottom of the Achievemens screen, all the way to China. At the bottom, you will see 3 Chinese zombies (Jiangshi). Try to beat your record!
You have to play and eventually, it will unlock. If I remember right, it's unlocked in Adventure 1 Night Level 3. On both iOS and Android, the first Mini-game is ZomBotany. Tips for Zombotany: Earn "Wall-not Attack" and "Good Morning!" by using only mushrooms and Coffee beans. Also your plants cannot get damaged by peas because they are too short. Hypnotise Wall-nut Zombies.
