Hi
 it may be simple but i didn't find it

I'm trying to know how to write on the grid ..for example : write (assembly section) on the grids next to 5 machines that work for assembly

You can use CAD to create a block, then write text to it.

Then merge and save as a Part.

 

Then create an Accessory and use the geometry for it.

 

Locate the Accessory so that the writing is where you want it.

Hi,

another option that has proved useful is texture mapping, this allows the user to select any font, background colour, style etc..

- Create a word document with required text and take a screen dump/snippet and save as .jpeg. in the textures folder of your project library
- Texture mapping can be found in CAD|AUX|TEXTURE MAPS - CREATE
- Create a block in CAD of suitable size(set colour to white) and texture map the .jpeg and save the part (scale and move to fit)
- create an accessory and use the geometry for it

This can also be used for loads of other useful things, e.g. Displaying company logo in the model or showing process maps on the shop floor, and building model up on the map.

There is a 3rd solution, the simplest for me ^^
You can create annotates and put them on the floor
