I wrote a whole bunch of sketches.

Baby (a new sketch which is more a visual gag than anything else -- basically we will be staging a live birth)

I was figuring the butt dialing one would be one of the offended blackouts.

I'm open to whatever with Baby -- I just really like the vision of staging a birth.

This was just a very early proposal of a setlist. All of the sketches can be in it -- we just need to see drafts of these scripts.

Sorry if I made anybody mad by writing drafts of sketches or setlists -- this was not my intention at all.

We have exactly 3 weeks until tech and in that time we need to:

a) write sketches

b) create a setlist

c) gather props

d) figure out tech (lights, music, etc)

e) get all of this info to Andrew Throrp.

I was off today so took the time to write my ideas. I in know way tried to steel ideas and do not consider any of what I wrote finished. This was just a day to get things written down because, let's face it -- I'm sick and tired of losing sleep stressed out about this show.

ELI - i'm not mad at you at all i'm glad you're doing work on the show. i just listened to your song first of all YOURE AN ANIMAL all those eli voices lol the beginning music is great. 

CAROL - love the version you wrote. i think eli's music and lyrics in the beginning and then carols indigo speech where he's in love with blue and then blue sadly yelling noo is a funny and dark contradiction to something so innocent and child like. it kind of evokes a feeling within the audience that even though, broadly speaking, colors of the rainbow and other shows with real people in them are "just" kid shows, those colors of the rainbow characters are representations of actual people in kids shows who like everyone else has real problems. liked eli's version too but want want to take some of the silliness out since colors of the rainbow itself is already so silly. it might up the stakes a little more to have a grounded dramatic feeling about indigos disappearance/indigo's monologue

NATE - are you gay still? :(

EVERYONE - agree with all of this stuff, i say tomorrow night we go over everything, make sure things you are bringing in are polished and written, also if you are able to have scripts that might be nice too. Also last day for bringing in new stuff. THen once we go over everything lets put all the sketches up on eli's board and start to pick and choose and construct how we want to the show to look, and then start talking about production. props costumes etc etc
