Ijust watched a video preview of aerosoft's new airbus and I observed that the cockpit lights seem comletely different than those I have on my system. So, i would like to ask if there is a possible way to reduce the brightness or even switch completely off the flud lights on my FSX as it happens in this picture

Thank you both for your answers!! It seems thats a combination of the new night lighting which can be activated in the Configuration as Emi mentioned and ENB Natural from REX which makes the whole scene darker.

When choosing which simulator you would like to experience you may want to keep in mind that the A320 has a larger cockpit in both length and width. The way it is operated is also quite different. Rather than using a large control yolk you will be using a sidestick which is located on the outer side of each pilot.

We will need to look at the dates of availability of the Full Motion Simulators and then have that match up with your availability. You will be vying for flight time with commercial and military pilots, so to ensure your slot in the Level D flight simulators I would book as soon as possible after receiving the voucher.

The information you provide on this form will only be used to provide you with updates and personalised marketing from Full Motion Experience.

I am trying to build my homemade cockpit of an A320 airplane, I made each of the drawings in Adobe Illustrator to send them to be engraved and cut on ABS plates, I ordered switches and LEDs from China, I did some tests with the generic A321 and others planes supported by the page of SIMVIM and Arduino, working well and finally, I bought the Flight factor A320 for being a very detailed plane and I realized that I need to work on conversions of data.cfg files, publish.txt files, dataref.txt files, there are many commands compatibles in other aircraft but they are not compatibles on FF A320. I don't know anything about this, I'm new to this topic. I know there is a "commands.txt" file but I think they are only switches but they are not LEDs or advertisement lights.

So I ask for your help if you can support me and guide me on how to build the correct data.cfg file for FF A320/SIMVIM, or where I can get the FF A320 & SIMVIM configuration files. I am trying to do the front panel, pedestal and overhead of the plane.

Hello,

first of all, SimVim ( HCSCI ) must be assigned the appropriate parameters to the inputs used. For this you have to know which parameters are used by SimVim for the corresponding keys of the FF A320. The graphical view in the configurator of SimVim is not yet complete for the A320. But you can find all these parameters in other places.

Since the FF A320 uses almost no standard X-Plane DataRefs, most parameters have to be converted. I have already converted most of the parameters for the overhead of the FF A320 for SimVim.

On the page " _planes.html" you can find the "hcsci_A320_FF.dat" file and the "publish.txt" file. The file "hcsci_A320_FF.dat" contains all conversions for the FF A320. The DataRefs from the "publish.txt" file must be inserted into the "publish.txt" file in the FF A320 folder, otherwise some required DatRefs are not active.

I have also created some Word files. There you can see which SimVim parameters I used for the corresponding functions of the overhead. Also most of the FF A320 DataRefs can be seen there (for inputs and outputs).

Unfortunately every kind of files and info related to FF a320 plane seem to be no more available on the simvim web site and also on the web. Coul you kindly share also the hcsci_A320_FF.dat file and every kind of informations about the integration of this plane in simvim platform ?

Hello Marco,

I switched to the ToLiss A321 with SimVimX some time ago. I invested a lot of time in the FF A320, but never managed to solve all the problems. The programmer of SimVimX ( Vlad ) then also fixed on ToLiss. So I stopped using the FF A320. FlightFactor does many things differently that do not work for SimVimX.

Versatility for Universities: Tailored for educational institutions, the simulator is well-suited for universities seeking a reliable and realistic training platform to enhance aviation programs.

Absolutely, major ATC organizations like Skyguide, DFS and Eurocontrol use our solutions to train future ATC staff. Understanding the constraints of jets when flying in a controlled environment is key to safe operations.

This device is very popular with home users, universities, and flight schools that do not log hours. It can also be certified by other authorities, such as CASA in Australia. Ask your sales agent for more information.

Oncean experience has been purchased, the Schedule Your Visit link at the top of our website can be used to view our online diary and book in, all you need is the order number provided by email once your order is complete. You can also use this link to check availability prior to purchasing if you have a specific date and time in mind, our slots are first come first served.

- Your experience is truly centered around you. When you visit, you will be the only experience visitors in the centre at that time - we do not have multiple sessions running at the same time, ensuring our focus is solely on you.

- Our 220 degree wrap around screen offers immersion like no other. Built in South Korea, the screen is used in level D motion simulators across the world. You truly do believe you are flying a 70 tonne aircraft.

No two sessions in our simulator are the same and can be completely tailored to what you would like to do. Wether you want to fly from A to B or to experience an engine fire or failure, our sessions have it all.

On a 30 minute session, some of the above steps may be skipped to give you as much time as possible in the air from takeoff to landing. If you know which airport you would like to depart from in advance we can ensure that we are all set up prior to your arrival with us. If you do not have a preference, you will depart from Newcastle Airport (EGNT).

No, our youngest flyer in the simulator was 5 years old and our oldest 92 years old. We would however recommend usually that anyone under the age of 10 only opt for a 30 minute session as younger children can often lose concentration after this time - this is not a rule, just a general observation.

Generally, 1 hour and above sessions will get the most from the experience, mainly as you are then able to start from the gate at an airport, taxi and complete a full flight. 30 minute sessions generally start on the runway and we class those as 'taster' sessions. The longer the session, the more you are able to do on the day. Time goes very fast when you are in the simulator.

Personalised Boarding Pass

Perfect for gifts and special occasions, our personalised boarding pass is printed with the attendees name and sent out to you to give as a physical gift. Please allow 7 days for the voucher to arrive. We can also email out the Personalised Boarding Pass within 24 hours if you email us after placing the order should you require the boarding pass quickly for a gift. Full instructions will be provided to allow the recipient to book in their session.

Video of Experience

Re-live the experience with a video of the flight! Our camera is located in the cockpit of the simulator and will show the participant flying the simulator and the view outside of the cockpit window. The video is recorded in HD and will be sent via a web-link within 10 working days of the session.
