Hi there

Do you want either one, or both?
The 2nd Chandigarh Running And Living Marathon Fest done along with the Chandigarh Administration on April 14th includes a 5,10, half and a full marathon which is a treat to the senses - there isn't a prettier city in the country to run in - by a lake, world famous rock garden, past two Chief Ministers' residences, 2 State Governor Residences, a Golf course, past gardens and by the side of a village - catching sunrise over Sukhna lake would be a phenomenal view.
Registrations close April 3rd - the date got extended thanks to school holidays in Chandigarh.

Hope to see you there

And then The 2nd Rishikesh Running And Living Half Marathon on May 25th/26th has an amazing set of runs.
A flat and tranquil 5km run along the Ganga at Rishikesh on May 25th evening followed by an Ayurvedic treatment, and then a challenging 10km run or a gruelling half marathon on May 26th post which you can take in some river rafting - all this and more, is geared up to make this holiday season more action packed for you and your family.

The Half Marathon is recommended for those who have run a 2:30 half or quicker in the plains since the terrain is rugged and includes the first 7km of gentle tarred road, a swing bridge, and then a rocky, sandy, muddy, concrete and shale ridden mule track. A climb of 1000 ft awaits you where coming down is slower than going up.
There is a spot for taking a cool tub dip in the Ganga on your way back - which was a hit at the inaugural experience last year.
Hurry - early bird rates on till March 31st - info and regn at http://runningandliving.com/rishikeshMarathon/#
Come and get it.
