IIT Kanpur Golden Jubilee (Ultra) Marathon - February 21, 2010
IIT Kanpur will celebrate its Golden Jubilee (50 years) in a unique way. We will organize many people to run 50 km on February 21, 2010. This is a lofty challenge that will be undertaken by many individuals from the greater IIT Kanpur fraternity of students, faculty, staff, families, and alumni. There are several other runs being planned. The signature 50K will also have a relay component, allowing people to form teams to complete this distance. In all, the races planned for this day are
- 50 Km Individual
- 42.2 Km Individual
- 21.1 Km Individual
- 10 Km Individual
- 5 Km Individual
- 2 Km Individual
- 50 Km Relay Race

50K, please drop me a mail confirming the same. Those who have not yet
registered but intend to do the same, please register by monday and
then drop me a mail.
Once I will get your mails, I will be sending a mail to organizers
informing them about the participation from Delhi Runners group, since
they had earlier given their permission for the same. Since this event
is open to IITK alumnis only, i would want to do a final confirmation
with the organizers once I get a confirmed list from here.

Chandigarh Marathon and IITK's 50K ultra. Hope, you would have counted

BTW, all the 50K aspirants above did our final long run at Chandigarh last weekend at the Chandigarh Marathon with a 42K :)
