Hey Guys,

NOW THIS IS IMPORTANT:

WE KEEP TALKING ABOUT RIDES AND THE TURNOUT IS NOT GREAT!!!

WE DONT EVEN KNOW HOW MANY OF US AND WHO ALL BELONG TO THIS GROUP.

what we need to do first is create a list of members with names, email
id & phone numbers, so we can now put in sms to whole group and
email....then people confirm yes or no.

other thing we can then exchange ideas.

As per the cost of sms etc. i feel what we can do is every member turn
wise is given responsibility.

OUR GROUP NEEDS TO BE MORE PROFESSIONAL.... COME ON GUYS LETS MAKE
THIS AN EXCELLENT GROUP...

Hi Sumesh,
There already exist two separate SMS alert services - one about all
the rides taking place, one about all the discussions on this group.
Please join those, as some of us are already using those. Besides,
sharing your details like telephone number and email address over a
public forum might lead to misuse of those, which is why we don't
encourage it here.

For any *confirmed* cycling rides, just post about it (in format
similar to ride details on http://delhicyclingclub.blogspot.com), and
it'll soon be put up on the blog, and fowarded by SMS to those who've
subscribed to the SMS alerts that I've mentioned above. Also drop me
or Mr. Rajendra Verman a reminder, in case we forget.
With some coordination, we can make Delhi's cycling circuit very
lively.
