 Akashvani Sangeet Sammelan 2012 is being  organized by Prasar Bharti on 29 Sep 12 (Evening) and 30 Sep 12 (Morning) at 24 cities across India.  The Delhi concert will feature  Pandit Jasraj vocal  and those interested to attend the prog can come to Chinmaya Mission Auditorium Lodhi Road New Delhi.  Those in other cities can go and attend the prog at their respective venues on first come first seated basis. For several decades, Akashvani (All India Radio) has been organizing the Sangeet Sammelan in many parts of the country and Indore has been regularly been a part of this important festival. It may be mentioned here that these live concerts (also recorded for the AIR Archives)  are broadcasted on All India Radio that reaches out the listeners across the country.  The recordings of this year's concerts will be broadcasted from 20 October to 29 November 2012. We can  devote 1 hour of our time on weekdays and 90 minutes for Saturday and Sunday evenings and 2 hours on some of the Sunday mornings (except a few sundays) with the galaxy of our musicians associated with All India Radio and listen to the fine renditions over the radio.

It is also important to mention here that All India Radio has been recording the Great Masters and other artists of our country and have a central archive at New Delhi.  They also been commercially releasing some of the selected recordings from their archives through their stations and also arrange a counter at the venue during any such program.
