SPIC MACAY - Planning Meeting - VIRASAT 2014

Inviting Educational Institutions, Student Volunteers, Senior Coordinators, Volunteers and Interested People

Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth - SPIC MACAY is beginning its Virasat 2014 series all over the country in over 300 cities and will continue till December 2014. In this series, various modules of our rich cultural heritage will be presented in schools and colleges. It will comprise of classical music and dance, folk, talks, cinema classics, workshops and intensives of crafts/art forms, yog/meditation, holistic food and walks to heritage sites.

A planning meeting for All India Virasat 2014 has been scheduled to discuss the role of educational institutions and partner with them to promulgate our Intangible Cultural Heritage to give the present generation of students a transformative and holistic education system.

The meeting will be held on Friday, 11^th July 2014 at, Modern School, Barakhamba Road, New Delhi, from 3-5 p.m.

Agenda of the meetings will be:

-to present and discuss the modules for Virasat 2014

-Vision 2020: Progress and challenges on strategic directions.

-to present key responsibilities of educational institutions and student facilitators/ volunteers for Virasat 2014

-Distribution/ collection of Consent forms for Virasat 2014

-Exchange of words/ queries/ contact details with guests and volunteers.

Note:

-We request everyone to take their seats by 14:45hrs.

-We also request you to spread the message to as many people as you can

-Mobile Phones should be switched off or on silent mode.

-Institutions willing to organise a program can submit the Consent Form for Virasat 2014.

Students willing to volunteer must join!
