SIR,PLEASE LET ME KNOW THAT AFTER HOW MUCH YEARS OF SERVICE A EMPLOYEE CAN OPT FOR VRS AND PENSION BENEFIT.EARLIER IT WAS ATLEAST 20 YEARS BUT I CAME TO KNOW THAT IT IS 10 YR NOW PLEASE CONFIRM IT AND KINDLY EXPLAIN ANY AGE CRITERIA IS RELATED TO VRS PENSION AS 50/55 YEAR AGE MINIMUM.
Example now my age is 38.and joining date is 12.11.2001 and i have completed 12 yr and 6 months service.now i got selected in bank as PO if i resign from service with/without permission will i eligible for pension.yet bank is not considering my previous service.then how can i get benefit of previous service i want vrs with pension prefrebely.

The Minimum Service to required to get pension is 20 yrs and you will not get any Pension.
