Teacher was appointed on 23rd August, 1975 in School recognized under Delhi School Education Act/Rules, 1973 in pay scale of Rs.300-20-500. The appointment letter specified only “teacher”. The services of the teacher were confirmed with effect from 1st September, 1978 in pay scale of 330-20-410/25-660/30-810. The employee was confirmed at TGT in scale 1400-40-2600 with effect from 1st July, 1990.
I seek help/guidelines from seniors in the forum for the following:
Pay fixation formula/calculation method for fixing salary as on 01.01.1986, 1.1.1996 and 1.1.2006.
We are all aware that teachers were sanctioned Senior Pay Scales on completion of 12 years and 24 years service under the ACP rules.
Please advise which date is appropriate for arriving at first and second sanction of Senior Pay Scale. Should it be date of appointment or date of confirmation?
ACP rules have been replaced with MACP with effect from 1st September, 2008 under MACP guidelines issued on 19th May, 2009?
The employee had put more than 30 years service as on 31st December, 2005.
Please advise to what Grade Pay is the above employee entitled as on 01.01.2006 and 01.09.2008? Should the Grade Pay be Rs.5400.00 as on 01.01.2006 and Rs.6600 as on 1st September, 2008?
