Sir, my pay was stepped up on 06-02-2006 with DNI 01-07-2007 in Pay Band of Rs.9300-34800 plus Grade Pay Rs.4600. Sir, the DNI should be 01-07-2006 instead of 01-07-2007. as per 6th cpc RULE 10 AND RULE 3(7).
1 Rule 10. Date of next increment in the revised pay structure - There will be a uniform date of annual increment, viz. 1st July of every year. Employees completing six months and above in the revised pay structure as on 1st of July will be eligible to be granted the increment.
2 Besides this The first increment afterfixation of pay on 1.1.2006 in the revised pay structure will be granted on 1.7.2006 for those employees for whom the date of next increment was between 1st July, 2006 to 1st January, 2007.
3. 1) Rule No. 3 (Para7) Definitions of “Revised pay structure” in relation to any post means the Pay Band and Grade Pay specified in column 2 of the first schedule.
4. On stepping up of pay neither pay band nor grade pay changes. hence I completes 6 months in revised pay structure.
5. CLARIFICATION ON THE DATE OF NEXT INCREMENT VIDE F.NO. 1/1/2008-IC OF MINISTRY OF Finance ALSO CLARIFY THE DNI IN LINE NO. 4 THAT "Accordingly, all Government servants wo earned their last increment between 02.01.2005 and 01.01.2006 would get their next increment on 01.07.2006".
Please help me. I should get or not the increment on 01/07/2006.
I am in a great hope that any advice or help will be received from your side in this matter. Please do reply in against or agreed. If agree please tell where should I appeal as the DCA(EDN.) is not giving any response.
