Greetings from the Kriti Film Club!
Some of you may know that I have been curating and organising the Beyond Borders Feminist Film Festival since 2020. This festival began on a push by Kamla Bhasin and even after her passing, I decided to keep my commitment to her and have tried to keep it going
even with minimal resources and biggest solidarity.
This year we are organising the 5th Beyond Borders Feminist Film Festival 2024, being held in two schedules and venues, as below and you are all welcome.
28 - 30 Nov. 2024 (11 - 8.30 pm) 4 - 9 Dec. 2024 (7 - 9.30 pm) 10 - 26 December (Online edition)

On Day 1 of the festival (28th November), I have specially curated the first day of films in Hindi aimed at a local community audience of women, girls, and people of all genders and age groups. I would like to invite Delhi based organisation's to bring
members of your community for this day's films from 11 to 5 pm at the Alliance Francaise de Delhi.
The themes of the festival are based on Kamla di's songs and cover issues of violence against women, non-traditional work and livelihoods, labour and women workers rights, education and social norms affecting girl children, agency and empowerment of women and
the call to justice.
I believe that the films will give the audience and all of you a lot of new insights and be a tool for useful conversations and changes in the community's mindsets and behaviours on important gender based issues. We would ofcourse love to have you and community
members to attend the rest of the festival as well if of interest.
Do let me know if this is of interest and how many members you would like to bring. Please do let me know by 15th November ideally so we can prepare for the same.
