My dear Equality and Justice Lovers,
I am writing to invite you to a meaningful evening to celebrate the life of Rohini Ghadiok, a young woman who left her body much too early.
Rohini worked with us in Jagori, then in the Hunger Project and then in APWLD, Thailand.
Rohini's passion was justice, equality, rights, peace for all.
At the annual oration, this year Laila Tyabji will speak on identity. Laila has been working for four decades for the welfare and promotion of crafts and crafts people.
After Laila's talk will be music by Rajasthan Roots, a band led by my nephew Aditya Bhasin.
The invitation is enclosed. The program is on 26 th April at 6pm at India Islamic Centre, Lodi Road.
Do join us.
Love
Kamla

My dear Gayatri,
Thanks for sharing this letter . Laila's theme is indeed most typical these days.
I am going to Dhaka this morning and rushing back on 25 th to listen to Laila and the band.
My brother Brij, an old friend of Laila's and his wife will also come for the Program. Your sister Jyoti can finally meet my brother for whom she carried a gift from Pakistan.
Love
