Kriti Film Club, New Delhi announcements!

The monsoons are retreating, the skies are turning blue again, the fragrance of trees and flowers is filling the slight nip in the air and the Kriti Film Club is buzzing with an exciting lineup of film screenings, festivals and conversations around issues that matter. We hope that you can attend some of these events happening in-person or online.

Curated by Kriti Film Club and organised in collaboration with the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA). Join us for the first film, followed by a conversation with the filmmaker and Yogendra Yadav, facilitated by the curator, Aanchal Kapur.

About the film: In a uranium mining area of Jharkhand, India, a tribal couple cope with the loss of their daughter. For them, the land and forest are witness to their daughter’s memory. With great sensitivity and beauty, the film explores the deeply intertwined connections between tribal communities and the forest that is their traditional home.
