16th Oct. is World Food Day and some special activities and interactions are proposed for that day-

On our shared need and concern for Safe food. 

Including some street theatre, which is proposed to begin towards the weekend.  

In these months along with our longstanding focus on biodiverse ecological farming, livelihoods, forests and organic foods,  

with like minded groups in a new Alliance for Safe Food we are highlighting issues and taking steps to further awareness,  

cultivation and availability of safe and adequate food for all. As organic farmers, nature and life lovers, citizens of India and 

urban food consumers we say No to all threats to our food and bio-safety including new ones like GM crops.
