Bones showed her the error of her ways, helped her embrace and develop her vampire side, and together, they have been battling evil for six books now. Always exciting, laugh-out-loud funny, emotional, and sometimes downright scary. Each installment provides a new mystery to solve, a new battle to overcome, and another chapter in an intense romance that still gives me butterflies.

The series follows Cat, a feisty, kick-ass, half vampire hunter with a wicked sense of humor half vampire huntress, who meets and falls in love with Bones (Crispin Philip Arthur Russell III), a deliciously sexy, super protective, uber alpha male hero that will have you swooning in no time. This series is pretty unique in that its technically an UF series but it follows the same couple (Cat& Bones) throughout whole series.
Hi Aestas!! Holy heavens on earth!!! Those pictures **drools forces me to know more about that Bones guy. I got hooked up again on Paranormal romance just this last week of May when I started reading the Fever series. And I am searching for what to read next. Seems like the Night Hunter Series should be a good follow-up? or not?
This reading order is designed to give an outline of major storylines featuring Huntress (Helena Wayne) throughout DC Comics. It does not encompass every one of her appearances, but is an outline of the major ones and the stories that affect them.
A human engineer named Tom accepts a deal to travel to a Fantasy world with the mission of changing it forever. He is given a week to prepare before setting off. Once on the other side, he is greeted by a fantastical world and its inhabitants. his original mission to change this world and have some fun while doing it quickly turns into him making a home for himself and defending it and his new family against whatever ends up coming their way. The story will also follow the POV of Sapphire a local woman who Tom encounters early on in his travels to yield a closer insight into our local population.
The story focuses mainly on the interactions between the characters with intermittent action, romance, and the technical side of trying to bring a medieval-high-fantasy people up to speed with more or less modern technology. There will be discussions of mental illness, immense loss, and joy, ranging from the truly heartbreaking to the properly heartwarming.
The first chapters are on the short side but eventually escalate to the 3000-5000 word range. especially the early chapters suffer from poor grammar and I am sorry but I would rather write more than go back and fix it. The schedule is every other Monday at least for now
If you want to support this odd little project I do have a Patreon. Youll be able to get a chapter two weeks early, though I am curently taking a break likely till late feburary or early march due to real life concerns.
For more stuff from the world of Oka, check out my profile for the specials. I generally make one every 10 regular chapters. Alternatively, you can have a look on the Discord for some more funny side stories and general chatting with other folk who enjoy the story
His allies have different moral values, which leads to many awkward situations. Like a modern man who travels back in time to the Middle Ages, where most of the population is knights with idialistic honor. Even if his first encounter with intelligent natives is not very plausible in human society (what would a person do if they just met another intelligent race?), but to the natives, he is just another intelligent race. I also find amusing his problems with the color of the fabric and the opinion of the locals about it.
There is a mention of a magic academy and dedicated teacher\\researchers in the last chapters, and I hope this author mentions more about how magic works or how the natives study it. It would also be interesting to describe in more detail the structure of the natives' society.

This story feels like a breath of fresh air for the whole 'stranger in a strange land' genre, or 'isekai' as I now learned its being called. There is an incredible amount of detail put into worldbuilding and character development. The reader is transported along with the main character to a fantasy world of magic, dragons, and dragon people where civilization seems to be at an early renaissance or perhaps late medieval level.
The protagonist is competent, the characters are lovable and memorable, and the story doesn't seem to make use of cheesy and overused tropes (at least to my knowledge). There are a decent amount of action scenes throughout with real consequences that the characters have to live with. This is balanced out by non-overbearing slice-of-life portions, as the characters try to move on with their lives after every significant event.
The romance aspect is not introduced until a considerable amount of time into the story, but I personally felt that not rushing the romance made the relationships later on all the more meaningful and fun to read. It gave a chance to get to know the characters well enough that I was practically giggling with excitement as the characters tried to explore their new feelings towards one another; while simultaneously shaking my head at their lovable goofy interactions.
I see a lot of people complaining about grammar while simultaneously praising the story. I find this to be ridiculous. This is not a professionally published story (not yet at least) and should not be held up to such standards. This is a labor of love, of someone who is just trying to tell a great story and is excelling at it. Language and grammar are entirely made up human concepts, their rules changing over time to fit our needs. All that is expected of an unpublished story posted online should be to simply get its information conveyed to the reader in the way the author intended it to. And this Story does that well enough that I personally did not find any grammatical errors. I was too captivated by the story itself to notice or care. If and when the author decides to officially publish this as a book, then it would be more acceptable to hold it to stricter grammar standards as so many people point out.
