Meeting tomorrow?

I have a vague recollection of scheduling a DelCoAD meeting for
tomorrow, June 18th, in the AM. The original plan was to hopefully
interview a VISTA candidate or two at 9:30 and have our meeting at 11
AM. Unfortunately, we don't have any candidates to interview at the
moment. Lyn and I interviewed someone two weeks ago who wound up
selecting another program.

a) do we still want to meet tomorrow and
b) what time and where? 9:30 at Swarthmore?

so clearly tomorrow is not a good time for folks. How about next Wed,
Jun 25th? I'm not sure if we'll have any VISTA candidates to interview
by then but its probably a good idea for us to get together to check in
anyway...

Unfortunately, the 25th won't work for me -- Yikes -- looking at my calendar, next week is quite crazy -- I could do 3:30 on either Monday or Tuesday

well, I'm of the opinion that there are always items to discuss, especially since the work continues regardless of whether we have a candidate but if others want to push off until what would be our regular July meeting time (Wed, Jul 9th), that's fine for me.

We don't have any new candidates right now -- and that's one of the issues. Can everyone re-circulate the announcement to their lists?

According to my calendar, we have a DelCoAD meeting scheduled for tomorrow morning.

Do we have an Agenda to discuss? I know this is a hectic time at my agency – so I am wondering if it is for others as well? It would be good to get a sense of who is able to attend tomorrow morning – Would you all please “Reply All” so we can see who is planning to attend?

So, I'm pretty sure we have a standing 2nd Wed of the month morning meeting. Folks should have this as a recurring event on their calendar.

When we were emailing back and forth in June about meeting and ultimately decided to cancel, I know I at one point said something about "at least we'll have our July 9th meeting."

Long story short, I'm fine with skipping tomorrow and waiting until August 13th (which is when I too will be on vacation so perhaps we can shoot for an earlier date...)

We are still in desperation mode in our search for a VISTA candidate. Please keep spreading the word through your networks.

One thing to keep in mind, all,

If push comes to shove, Meagan has expressed a strong desire to serve Delco AD again next year.

PS - thinking through the recurrent difficulties with scheduling meetings during the summer, when all of our "normal" routines are shifted to other priorities and vacations, perhaps we should ONLY meet during the summer on an ad hoc basis, such as a candidate or candidates to consider who must be decided upon before the VISTA start date in late August. Otherwise, we may want to poll the group for a regular meeting time (membership has changed, therefore schedules have too) to commence in September and conclude in May? The big issue, of course, is that no one person is charged with setting up meetings and creating agenda. If we haven't selected a VISTA by September, then I suggest we turn to Meagan again.
