Dear DelcoAD Group,

Please note that our originally scheduled group meeting, for June 12, is now being rescheduled for Thursday, June 6. The location will either be at CAADC in Boothwyn or at Swarthmore College, beginning at either 9:30 AM or 10:00 AM, and will run 2 hours.

I hope that everyone is able to attend and eager to participate in what I believe will be a very fulfilling and constructive DelcoAD brand and marketing development conversation. Please see below for more details and PLEASE RSVP as soon as you can.

Meeting Details:

As outlined in the our Strategic Plan, and during our various meetings, we have emphasized the necessity to move forward on strengthening the communications, marketing messages and increasing the level of awareness of our consortium across all key target audiences. I have begun several actions to help execute and achieve these goals, one of which was to secure funds to create a video to highlight the services provided through DelcoAD’s partners - in conjunction with executing specific outreach goals; However, even though this has been established in your strategic plan and such, we are at a juncture in which we need to be absolutely certain that we are all on the same page regarding who we are, what we do, and how we will be messaged through any medium - from the video to our website and media - even including amongst and within our own group.

Therefore, the purpose of this June 6 Group Meeting is to touch base and re-visit and solidify our brand: who we are; what we do; who we serve... so that we are all in-line with our main goals and in accordance with our mission statement. The videographer from the production company working on our video will also be attending to assist us during this process.

The questions below will be distributed during the meeting and used to drive the conversation. Your participation in filling out the survey is most beneficial for me to gather information and see beforehand what areas need to be most addressed; However, please fill-out at your convenience and only if you are able - as I understand that you are all very busy with your primary jobs.

It has also been brought to the table that we should talk about our name and logo and how it speaks to our messaging and services.

Please note that this is not an attempt to “reinvent the wheel” but merely an essential coming together in order to hardline our identity and objectives as a coalition and so that I can be most effective and responsible in improving our brand through the video, web, and outreach efforts as your coordinator.

Thank you all,

Devyn
