Good Afternoon Everyone,
At our meeting this morning, we agreed to pursue a funding opportunity through CFED to receive technical assistance in helping to expand access to financial education/empowerment. VITA tax preparation is a service included in the defined financial education services.
The Technical Assistance available through this opportunity would allow DelCo AD to strengthen the organization and referral patterns to show the client impact and collaboration required to access sustainable funding. The funding would support a part-time person to serve as Coordinator.
To allow us to prepare the strongest possible application on behalf of DelCo AD, we request that you complete the attached form and return it to Clayton Fitch (cfi...@pathwayspa.org) NO LATER THAN January 31.

Dear DelCo AD Partners,
As we continue to work on the CFD application that could (hopefully) provide the coalition with a part-time coordinator and technical assistance to realize some goals we have long been wanting to pursue, we are requesting that each organization provide a Letter of Support for the application package. We have attached a sample one that you can put on your organization’s letterhead, sign, scan, and return to us. Please feel free to adapt/modify.
For partners who offer direct client service, it would be very helpful – and make our proposal much stronger – if you could please provide 2-3 sentences about how you “monitor and evaluate” the effectiveness of their financial capability services (VITA, financial ed, financial counseling, benefits application assistance, etc.).
Please also get this back to us no later than JANUARY 31.
