Seller_Item_Close_Sold notification sent when paid via invoice?

Hi,
When a customer pays for an order via Delcampe invoice, does the Seller_Item_Close_Sold notification get sent? Does the invoice use the API at all?
We had an invoice "2016/10/00007" paid that did not seem to send the Seller_Item_Close_Sold notification.
Other orders paid directly on Delcampe have sent the Seller_Item_Close_Sold notification as expected.

Just to clarify my question...
I'm not 100% sure when the Seller_Item_Close_Sold notification is sent. Is it sent for every order regardless of how they pay, or only if the customer pays immediately, and/or after they are invoiced?
The reason I ask is that we had an invoice "2016/10/00007" paid that did not seem to send the Seller_Item_Close_Sold notification. But other orders have sent the notification as expected.
