Delayed job process name

Hi guys,

so i "ps aux" delayed job appears as "delayed_job" which rox.
but in "top" it just appears as "ruby" which sux :)

anyone know how to change this ?

If you are not trying to do this on a standard linux server and not a Mac, hit "c" It tells top to display full command names.

Thats really nice.

I have a system monitoring tool that needs to look for the name to see if the process is up. and this tool looks the same place top looks apparently.

so unfortunalty i cant tell it to do the c thing :S - any other ideas

Maybe try something like monit (http://mmonit.com/monit/) which will watch the process name instead of top to monitor the process.

Monitoring tool called sysorb

i dont think its that well used outside of denmark
