June 14th Meeting Sew-In

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. Even though I'm retired and out of school for years (understatement!), when Junes arrives, I always feel I'm on my Summer Vacation, lol.

So, due to the conflict with Father's Day, our next MQG meeting is Sunday, June 14th. The goal is to assemble both the QOV and Beachy Raffle Quilts that morning during the Sew-In. 

Please try to arrive at 10am and be ready to get going as quickly as possible. We'll start with the QOV quilt but it'd be great if we could complete both quilts before 1pm when the meeting begins. 

Dawn, Gina and I will be there to help coordinate with the QOV quilt. Ideally, all the blocks will be "fit" and the process will go smoothly! However, just in case there's any issues, we'll bring extra pre-washed fabrics. We'll also have a design wall, 2 cord reels, cutting mats, rulers and rotary cutters plus irons and pads. 

Btw, Dawn has received a lot of blocks. Each quilt pattern requires 29 blocks. She has 28 QOV Blocks. The only one missing is the Star Block. Peggy, do you have it? Re: the Beachy Blocks, she only received 20 Beachy blocks. Anyone who hasn't turned theirs in, please bring it with you on the 14th.
