Fee is $10 per person/$15 per couple. Make check payable to
Cooperative Extension and mail to PO Box 184, Hamen, NY 13782. Note:
"farm website" on check. Pre-registration is required by March 20.
Space limited.
If you know how to work a computer and create WORD documents, you can
create your own website. Participants will work at a computer station
and have the opportunity to learn step-by-step how to create an
effective, inexpensive website. Cheryl Fabrizi, a marketing
specialists, owner of Fab-Idea of Binghamton, NY and instructor at
Broome Community College, will teach particpants the essentials of
buying a "dot.com" web address including where to host it, what
software to use and how to design, write and maintain a website.
Participants need to come with their on-line marketing goals and basic
information about their farm or business to post to their home page.
