Run for Council!

Dear ultimate enthusiasts --

The Delaware Ultimate league is run by a small army of volunteers -- from league coordinators to captains, to adhoc positions, like disc creation and schwag ordering (always thank your volunteers).  One of the most important volunteers in this army are the organizing generals, who we call the Delaware Ultimate Council (or DUC).  

The DUC consists of four elected members and a PADA appointee.  The elected members serve two year terms, and it's now time to elect the next two members.  

DUC meets throughout the year to discuss league issues and ways to make things better!  Some of the ideas that are always discussed (and we can use fresh new ideas or more volunteers for) include:

*  How to grow and cultivate female participation in the league

*  What is the right balance of social events the league should organize?

*  Organize skills clinics and newbie clinics

*  How to administrate leagues to ensure parity

*  Carwash fundraisers to keep game-time donut cash account flush

*  ...and more!

If would like to help with any of the above, or have your own special concerns, then consider running for DUC!

Submit your letter of interest to me (joshua....@gmail.com) by November 5.  These letters will be published along with the official ballot and sent to every 2018 Delaware Ultimate participant to vote.
