I spent much of my afternoon today calling my insurances and of the kids I saw in April and May none have a date of service for me....

This is what I sent to EIbilling provider support........

I was doing a weekly check on my children and I have a few denials/concerns....

For my child with MVP it says billed for his April, May and June dates of service but when I just spoke with an MVP rep and all dates of service I have provided have been denied as I was given the wrong policy number, the one listed is his mother (ending in 500) his ends in 503.

I know this is a problem for another one of my children who has CDPHP.  I didn't have the correct suffix for him only his father.

I am afraid this is going to be a problem for many therapists.....

At the present I am not getting any form of email when there is a denial or a problem, this would be very helpful as a red flag for providers.

Also I was checking my child with Medicaid which is says have been billed/ paid for April and May but I have not seen anything. I just noticed her may bill has gone through escrow. I spoke with my municipality and they don't have a reason for this change.  I am wondering if this has affected my April and May bill as well??

It would really be helpful if we were made aware of issues via email or on the front page like it does with Medicaid etc....  just to make us more aware otherwise I am searching for a while before I find a problem or like to toady I am not aware there is a problem until I call the insurance.

Do I need to call and check with each insurance company on the status to follow up on the correct IDs, denials etc ??
Any thoughts/ advice would be helpful, thank you

Has anyone called their insurance and had a date of service recorded let alone paid???

I am still waiting on all payment from April on..... please fill out the UNYEIP survey about payment so we can fight with NYS to get all parties aware of how we are waiting and WORKING FOR FREE.....

I also called insurance companies today (this is the second time I have called to check) and thus far excellus has not received any claims from April on. Eibilling says they have been submitted???
I have finally received payment from Medicaid for April and may. The representatives from the ins. Company have been helpful. They did say that bills are typically paid out quickly (within 3 weeks) once received. I feel like there is nothing I can do to speed up the process with insurances and that is frustrating. I also called James mcguiness and was told they would look into it, but they did nothing to check on these claims with me on the phone.
